Some 8 years ago, me and my mom took my younger brother, Anirban, to #NIMHANS for investigation of his #behavioural #deteriorations via few #professional sittings. Yes, it was somewhat useful back then and then my parents did enough so that his life can come back on track, when he finally cracked bank job exam in 2015.
On 3rd November 2022, when I entered NIMHANS Bengaluru convention centre, those not-so-happy #memories of my last visit to NIMHANS surfaced my mind.
But this time, it was as a for-profit social entrepreneur and food scientist, having been working in gut-impacting food segments and having first-hand experience in the field of autism and cerebral palsy for past 4 years.
It’s fulfilling that we have been able to impact in the sector of mental wellness via our food innovations.
Definitely, this space is not for weak-hearts or weak-willpowered people. It takes a lot out of you mental tranquility zone.
It’s important that if any of your family member is having mild to severe mental illness/issues, you should taken professional assistance from a reputed organisation like NIMHANS.
You being his/her immediate blood relative may not be the ultimate resource. Professionals and subject-knowledge expert helps.
